Shaped by the idea of harmonizing with the existing fabric of nature, this project was designed to offer a calm and understated living experience within the distinctive landscape of Assos. The masterplan brings together independent tiny house units and shared living spaces, creating a cohesive environment where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors are intentionally minimized.

The fundamental principle of the planning process was the complete preservation of the site's existing natural character. Not a single tree was removed throughout the development; instead, the positioning of the buildings, outdoor living areas, and circulation routes was carefully determined according to the existing trees. Rather than reshaping nature to suit the architecture, the project was designed to integrate seamlessly into the existing landscape.

The architectural language is defined through lightweight structures, expansive glazing, and natural materials. Outdoor living spaces developed on timber platforms extend areas for relaxation, dining, and social interaction directly into the landscape. Shading structures and naturally textured canopies gently filter sunlight, transforming the changing interplay of light and shadow throughout the day into an essential part of the spatial experience.

The communal open kitchen and bar were conceived as a social focal point, blending naturally into their surroundings through the use of warm, natural materials. After sunset, selective illumination of the trees, landscape, and circulation paths preserves the site's natural atmosphere while creating a calmer, more layered nighttime experience.

The project presents an alternative approach to living in which architecture does not dominate nature, but instead finds its place within it—respecting the existing vegetation, embracing simplicity and permeability, and establishing a strong connection with the surrounding landscape.
